LinkedIn is the world's largest professional social network. It is represented in over 200 countries and is translated into more than 24 languages. And it goes even further, with more than two new members being registered every second.
This suggests that this social media is the ideal tool for B2B companies to attract new customers.
LinkedIn is useful if you want to make contacts and build trust, but if you are looking for specific companies and people, you should not use this platform to increase your sales.
But why?
The reason is that most people don't have an up-to-date profile on LinkedIn and the social media itself doesn't have enough accurate data to find the right target customers.
About 50 percent of people don't have a current LinkedIn profile, which in turn leads to us targeting the wrong audience (click here if you want to have a successful LinkedIn profile).
There are three reasons why a worker may not have an updated profile:
He/she is not looking for a job
If he/she has recently changed jobs
he/she is not an active person in social media (LinkedIn)
Another reason why we unfortunately receive most of the wrong data is that the industry filter for companies is usually not correct, as a company may have indicated that it belongs to more than one category.
For this reason, we recommend using an external prospecting tool to search for companies and people you want to target, such as: Apollo.io, Snapdaddy and Depot.
If, on the other hand, you are looking for business contacts or would like to get in touch with companies but are unable to get the contacts you want, get in touch with us today.
We will be happy to find the right solution for you!
