The task was to prepare the recipients subsidized by the EU in Austria for BASF's CRM and to clean up their initial data.

Since the subsidy lists contained incomplete address information, the companies had to be searched for by name and postal code and, if found, enriched.

The search was first carried out automatically by means of a database search in reference tables, as well as with crawlers.

The identification rate was met with over 65%. Afterwards, about 10% of the records were enriched or improved with manual maintenance.

The resulting database enabled BASF to process the identified companies through a newly created sales team.
